E' forse necessario specificare che si tratta dell'ennesimo banale tentativo di truffa?

Basta leggere attentamente la lettere per capire che si tratta solo dell'offerta di un servizio di segnalazione a motori di ricerca:

we are sending you this notification for your business Domain name search engine registration

ovvero: "questo è promemoria per il l'iscrizione del tuo nome a dominio al servizio segnalazione motori di ricerca"
E la lettera contiene frasi allarmistiche, quanto false:

Failure to complete your Domain name search engine registration by the expiration date may result in cancellation of this offer making it difficult for your customers to locate you on the web.

ovvero: "non iscrivere il tuo nome a dominio al nostro servizio entro la data di scadenza dell'offerta, comporterà la cancellazione dell'offerta stessa, rendendo così difficile per i tuoi clienti trovarti sul web"

Si tratta, in pratica, di un banale servizio di segnalazione sui motori di ricerca, sostanzialmente non dissimile dal nostro Gold 6200. Si tratta di servizi utili a promuovere un sito, soprattutto quando questo è agli inizi. Ma  certamente non fanno miracoli e, se il sito è già ben posizionato sui motori di ricerca, sono del tutto inutili.
Inoltre, un servizio del genere solitamente ha costi molto contenuti (il nostro Gold 6200 viene offerto a € 16,00 + IVA), mentre in questo caso il costo è molto più sostenuto ($ 75,00, con la possibilità addirittura di aderire per più anni o a vita!)

L'uso da parte del mittente di un indirizzo email generico (domainservh7627@hotmail.com) su un account gratuito hotmail avvalora l'ipotesi che dietro a tutto questo non  ci sia un'azienda ma solo un grande... nulla.

Trattandosi, a tutti gli effetti, di pubblicità ingannevole e non sollecitata, potete tranquillamente ignorarla ed archiviarla nella cartella di competenza: il cestino...
